After two full days of pushing our bikes, I finally reached the 4300m pass, which was covered in snow.
There are 7 more passes like this one in Tibet, so I can’t be too happy.
No sooner had I reached the pass than I started to descend the descent I could see in front of me.
The ascent is not dangerous as I don’t go too fast, but the descent is where I have to be careful, so I start to descend slowly, holding the brakes as hard as I can to avoid going too fast.
The wind was blowing fiercely and it was freezing cold on the descent, I couldn’t even hold the wheel without gloves.
My face stiffens and I can’t move, and I think to myself, “I’m just going to lose altitude” as I head down the hill.
Looking back, the mountain I had just descended looked like a beautiful snow-capped mountain.
